Spotlight: Amity Gardens

Tucked away in the north part of Oakhurst is a sweet little neighborhood with established homes called Amity Gardens. Located between Monroe Road and Independence Boulevard with Sharon Amity Road to the east, Amity Gardens consists of a dozen or so streets of homes built in the 1950’s and 1960’s. Most of the homes feature all brick exteriors, single story floor plans in a hidden away area with low crime and rising property values.

Amity Gardens is in a great location for future appreciation. Many of the homes are currently rental properties, but as Charlotte grows, being close to Uptown is going to be great for property values in Amity Gardens. Homes here are great for holding as rentals as the prices are low compared to Cotswold to the south. They are also great for purchasing and remodeling as they have large yards with room to expand the structures or to update the interiors.
