Cherry is a smaller, quiet, and historic neighborhood located between the neighborhoods of Elizabeth and Dilworth. The homes have been built as early as 1905 but the neighborhood has been a prime spot for redevelopment and renovation with newer homes built as recently as 2017.
Just outside the neighborhood is Cherry Park, which is 68 acres and features a 1.5 mile walking trail and five baseball diamonds, as well as picnic areas. Cherry is close to highway 277 which gives it easy access to downtown Charlotte with many shopping and dining options.
