First developed in 1986, Cameron Woods is a newer neighborhood close to the other historical neighborhoods of Charlotte. Located off of Park Road, the neighborhood is close to highway 485 and highway 77, giving residents easy access to all the shopping and dining options of downtown Charlotte. Cameron Woods is also only minutes from the beautiful Quail Hollow club with a state of teh art clubhouse and golf course. One of the most popular amenities of Cameron Woods is the Cameron Woods Amenity Pond. This was a man-made pond that used to be a popular fishing spot. Today, catch-and-release fishing is still encouraged. There are also playgrounds and ball fields in the neighborhood.
