Stonehaven is a neighborhood located in Charlotte’s South East side off Sardis Road and Rama Road. Originally built in the 1950’s, Stonehaven has homes built recently as well. Homes in Stonehaven are mostly brick ranches, split levels and the occasional two-story. Homes are typically between 1,188 and 4,427 square feet, the larger of which are either new or remodels. Lot sizes average just under half an acre which gives plenty of privacy.
Stonehaven is a well established place, with a voluntary community association. They put on events throughout the year including a 4th of July parade and annual 5K fun run. McAlpine Greenway runs through the neighborhood and James Boyce Park is a gathering place for residents. The area is also home to three of the most prestigious private schools in the city.
Stonehaven is considered centrally located, just six miles from Uptown and five minutes from shopping at Cotswold. A twelve minute drive will have you at SouthPark Mall with world class shopping and dining.
