A joint venture between Spectrum Investment Services and Tribek Properties has withdrawn a rezoning request for a site adjacent to SouthPark mall where it had planned to build a 190,000-square-foot office building with ground-floor restaurant and retail space.

The acquisition, which closed this month, included eight properties sold by McDowell Properties, a multifamily company based in Dallas, and one sold by Laramar Group, a Chicago-based real estate investment firm.
