Hotel Indigo proposed for uptown hits resistance
A proposal for a boutique hotel inside an existing uptown Charlotte building is hitting some resistance from the owners of office condos there.
Building owner, The Simpson Organization of Atlanta, has proposed selling about 40 percent of the Tryon Plaza building to a local developer who wants to bring a Hotel Indigo to the structure.
