Topgolf is coming to Charlotte. Charlotte City Council has approved a rezoning request by developer American Asset Corp. in order to bring Topgolf International Inc. to a 15-acre site at West Arrowood Road and Interstate 485 for its first golf entertainment complex in Charlotte. Student-housing developer CampusWorks has closed on its purchase of a 4.3-acre site in Charlotte's Plaza Midwood neighborhood, where the firm is planning to build a 349-unit apartment project.
