A Hilton flag will be one of two hotels at Crescent Communities’ Stonewall Station project. A 160-room Home2 Suites will occupy a building between 10 to 12 floors within the mixed-use development currently under construction at the intersection of Stonewall and Caldwell streets. An Olympics development-program facility is planned for a large site just east of Ballantyne. CDA Inc. signed a lease at Logistics Pointe, a 1.1 million-square-foot warehouse and distribution center at 11922 General Drive. A Charlotte office tower was recently sold for $284 million. One Wells Fargo Center was sold March 25 by Starwood Capital Group and Vision Properties. Will Yowell, Patrick Gildea, Jay O’Meara and Justin Parsonnet of CBRE handled the negotiations on behalf of Starwood Capital. Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants announced today it will add two hotels to Charlotte next year. The San Francisco-based hotel chain is adding a 216-room hotel as part of a major mixed-use project by Spectrum Properties and Cornerstone Real Estate Advisors at the corner of Third and Church streets. A South End office building proposed prior to the recession could soon be revived by a new developer. The project, originally proposed by MPV Properties, is targeted for 230 W. Summit Ave., according to documents filed with the city. The original plan called for a three-story, 64,000-square-foot office building near the intersection of Summit and Church streets, in the heart of the rapidly growing South End.
