Rising demand driving home prices higher in Charlotte area

Home sales in the Charlotte region climbed 14 percent in April from a year earlier, according to the Charlotte Regional Realtor Association. The association reported Friday that Carolina Multiple Listing Service figures show 3,408 homes were sold in the region last month, up from 2,989 sold in April 2014. Charlotte, Carolinas see strong gain in home prices in March

Home prices in the Charlotte market rose 7.3 percent in March from March 2014 and increased 2.3 percent from February, according to the latest CoreLogic Home Price Index report.
