Nine Charlotte apartment properties acquired in $274 million deal
Cortland Partners, a real estate investment firm based in Atlanta, has acquired nine Charlotte apartment complexes totaling 3,265 units for $273.9 million.
The acquisition, which closed this month, included eight properties sold by McDowell Properties, a multifamily company based in Dallas, and one sold by Laramar Group, a Chicago-based real estate investment firm.
Cortland Partners owns more than 30,000 apartment units, according to its website. A Cortland executive could not be reached for comment.
