Levine Properties suspends construction at First Ward deck due to state funding issue

Levine Properties has suspended construction on a parking deck in Charlotte's First Ward due to a funding issue with the state of North Carolina. The firm started construction in April and will complete the footing and foundation work for a 1,335-space parking deck at 10th and Brevard streets. But it will not begin vertical construction, says Daniel Levine, who heads Levine Properties.
