The developers of SkyHouse Uptown are hosting a grand opening event for the apartment tower next month.
Early last year, Atlanta-based Novare Group, Grubb Properties and Batson-Cook Development Co. started construction on SkyHouse, a 24-story, 336-unit project at the corner of North Church and West 10th streets. Commercial real estate firm Childress Klein has donated $2.5 million to UNC Charlotte’s Center for Real Estate, which will be renamed the Childress Klein Center for Real Estate in honor of the gift.
